Special gift for special occasion

On October 19 my parents will celebrate their 39th wedding anniversary. I’m looking for a nice gift for both of them. It’s a very special occasion and I want my gifts to be something special also.

Today almost everything is already available online that’s why I always avail the internet service whenever I need something. For online stores Shop wiki is the site which I always use as my reference. Shop Wiki is the largest shopping comparison site on the web. With 200,000 stores and 250 Million products you can find more deals than any other comparison site. They do not sell anything, but provides enough relevant information to help you make the best choices and deals. Through their facility you can search for the product you need and compare their prices between various stores before you buy them. From the list of wide product you can narrow your search results by price, brand name, store or special features, once you have done a search, read their product reviews to help you decide whether to buy the product or not.

As for my gift, i’m thinking of a nice jewelry for my mother and a watch for my father. Well, I better visit Shop wiki now and check their latest shops of jewelry and watches and read some buyer's guide as well.

Are you in a clothing business or you're just planning to start your own? They have huge supplies of low budget apparels and other saleable items. Customers have wide range of choices from jackets, jeans, blouses and tops, to pants, shorts, dresses, skirts, and coats. Merchandize Liquidator distributes women and men's clothing, children's clothing, handbags for ladies, jewelry, cosmetics, lingerie, shoes, and even furnitures. They provide the customers with the latest information, inventory availabilities and quality of new, overstock, surplus, used and salvages goods.

Merchandize Liquidator supplies wholesale urban and wholesale designer clothing liquidation from high end department stores. They sell not just ordinary brands but very well-known brands such as Ralph Lauren, Polo, Calvin Klein, Guess, Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Tommy Bahamas, Rocawear, Apple Bottoms, American Rag, EckoRed, Charter Club, Club Room, Simply, Union Bay, Yank, XOXO, Fubu, Nautica, Kids Headquaters, Green Dog, Sean John, True Religion, Jeffrey Been, Claiborne, and more. Guide to Buying Used Exercise Machine

Newspaper classifieds and online auctions are full of ads for “slightly used” treadmills, stationary bikes and the like. But what do you need to know before you pick up a deal at a yard sale or on eBay? Here are few guidelines from the experts:

Do your research. Before you buy secondhand, do some digging, says Mike May, director of communications at the Sporting Goods Manufacturer’s Association in North Palm Beach, Florida. Start by talking to salespeople at a store specializing in new fitness equipment. Ask what brands are best, try them out and ask about warranties that come with the equipment you’re considering. That’s an easy way to find out what parts are most likely to need replacing and will tell you what to look for on a used machine too. A treadmill, for example, is likely to have separate warranties for the motors and for parts and labor. If you’re not picky about how you get your cardio, opt for machine with the fewest moving parts; a bike for example has one motor, while a treadmill has two.

Test it out. If you’re not buying online, get on the equipment and use it like you would during normal workout. Consoles should read properly. Elliptical trainers that work the upper and lower body should have sufficient resistance. Treadmill belts shouldn’t slip. If the used equipment isn’t in good condition, find out what the problem is and what it will cost to fix it.

Check for recalls. Log on to US Consumer Product Safety Commission’s site, recalls.gov before you bring anything home, recommends commission spokeswoman Kim Dulic. The site lets you search to see if a product or one of its parts has been recalled and can alert you to potential repairs.

Consider a refurbished machine. Companies that specialize in sprucing up used equipment abound online. You’ll typically pay 30-50 percent less than if you bought it new. Check to see if the company offers a warranty on refurbished equipment.

Shoe hunt

Last Saturday we went to Walter Mart to buy school shoes for my daughter. Actually we’ve been there many times, we keep coming back because we can’t find one that fits her big feet! It was hard because her feet are too big for her age. She’s only 11 years old but her feet is 9” Last Wednesday the sales lady just told us to come back on Saturday because new stocks will arrive. Luckily new stocks did arrive, we were able to buy a new school shoes for her. Just in time for the opening of classes.

Walter Mart is the only department store near our place, SM and Robinsons are too far from us. Fortunately, before the year ends a new Robinsons Mall will open near our place, the construction is in its finishing stage. And maybe next year SM Department store will be available too, the construction already started last February. More stores mean more choices so hopefully next school year shopping for school shoes will no longer be a problem!

Unique gift for Mothers

It's not too late to give gifts for moms this mother's day, and if you haven't found one why not try this one! I spotted the cutest digital photo frames for mom over at Gearlog today, and I have to say, I'm thinking about getting one. Digital frames all do pretty much the same thing, so why not get mom one that has interchangeable faceplates?
Memorex will be releasing two digital photo frames next month with a 7-inch LCD screen that can display photos at a 480 x 234 resolution. Images can be uploaded to the frame via USB, and it has extra card slots so you can also view photos stored on your memory cards.

Memorex says mothers and grandmothers will love the Special Occasions Digital Photo Frame which includes four interchangeable inserts: one with a silver metallic finish and three with wedding, baby boy and baby girl motifs. Those who want a more casual look might like the Floral Digital Photo Frame which has a trendy blue silkscreen floral design that pops out on a brown frame.
